Blemish Removal - How to get rid of Blemishes

Blemishes are marks on the skin due to boil, pimples, acne, itching, rashes or some other skin problems. . Blemish, often characterized by skin discoloration or dark spots, sometimes know as Hyper pigmentation is a result of acne whiteheads, blackheads, or just plain old pimples.

How to get Rid of Blemishes:

1) Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to avoid formation of blackheads and pimples.


2) Juice of raw papaya is the best treatment for blemishes. Apply fresh juice of raw papaya on pimples and get a fine result.


3) Take a raw potato, remove the skin and grate it. Put the grated into a muslin piece and tie it firmly to form a pad. Rub this pad all over the face for about 5 minutes and then wash your face. Alternatively you could straightly rub potato slices all over the face as this helps in blemish removal and pimple scar.

4) Make a paste of some two teaspoonfuls of turmeric powder in the juice of a lemon and apply this on the face wherever the blemishes are present.

5) Cover the skin blemish with a dab of honey and wrap it with a band aid leave over night and no more blemish in the morning. The honey kills the bacteria and maintains the skin steril.

6) Make a paste of some mint leaves, apply this paste on the face and keep the paste on the face for about twenty minutes. Wash your face with cold water. Repeat this remedy for fifteen days. This will most likely eliminate the blemishes from the face.

Dandruff Treatment – 6 Useful Tips for Dandruff Control

Dandruff particles are noticeable flakes of skin that have been constantly shed from the scalp. It is caused by a quick turnover of cells, so more dead cells are shed from the surface. Dandruff can cause either an overly dry scalp with itchy white flakes that may be waxy or greasy or dandruff can patent as an oily greasy scalp with scales. Dandruff usually does not require medical treatment and can be treated by using simple procedures.

Below are some of the useful tips for Dandruff Treatment:

1) Fenugreek seeds are important in dandruff treatment. Two tablespoons of these seeds should be soaked overnight in water and ground into a well paste in the morning. This paste should be applied all over the scalp and left for half an hour and then the hair should tbe washed thoroughly with soap-nut (ritha) solution or shikakai.

2) The juice of snake gourd is also useful in the prevention and dandruff treatment. The juice should be rubbed all over the scalp.

3) A simple way to cure dandruff is by using yogurt. Before using yogurt, you should wash your hair thoroughly and then apply yogurt on your scalp and let it sit there for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Then wash the scalp using as little shampoo as required.

4) Use anti-dandruff shampoo when you wash your hair as this is the easiest method to make your hair dandruff free

5) Mix essential oils of cedarwood (seven drops) cypress and juniper (each ten drops) in 50ml of carrier oil. Massage it finely into the scalp and leave for one hour. To eradicate, rub neat, mild shampoo into the hair, then rinse out with warm water.

6) You can prepare a homemade mixture of 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice with 100 grams witch hazel in 200ml of water and use it on washed hair. Applying the mixture several times is helpful in dandruff treatment.
